Boca Grande LLC - Concerned on Foley and Lardner Comment Sent in by a Reader.
"" In the last 3-4 years, a James P Connelly & Frank Cumberbatch have literally changed the face of Ripon. Under the name Boca Grande, LLC, several downtown properties have been purchased & are currently being renovated.
Because Mr. Connelly is a partner with Foley & Lardner law firm, is there reason for concern.
The city of Ripon has pledged $8 million in TIF money and Mr. Connelly has pledged $24 million of his personal assets. In light of the troubles facing Foley & Lardner in regards to patent infringement,theft, etc., should we as citizens be concerned.
The investments being made by Boca are several restaurants, a $12 million spa & hotel, museum of Republican Party, & on & on. Somthing just doesn't seem right? ""
